  • Opportunity Overview

    Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Client Service, the Account Director, Growth is responsible for researching, mining, and creating opportunities to share the value Lumency can bring to net new ideal clients. This role is responsible for relationship building and creating opportunities for net new business in the United States and Globally.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    New Client Cultivation

    • Research and identify net new client leads strategically
    • Research the needs of other companies and learn who makes decisions
    • Develop dossiers, or request the development of dossiers, on new potential clients
    • Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport
    • Arrange in-person meetings with new potential clients
    • Keep record of emails, calls and meetings
    • Maintain and build meaningful connections through networking events and meetings
    • Attend conferences, meetings, networking events, and other industry events to build relationships
    • Prepare presentations and sales tools proactively
    • Develop proposals and respond to RFQs/RFPs


    Culture Cultivation   

    • Support ongoing development of a positive agency culture
    • Act as a Lumency champion in the marketplace


    Other Duties as Assigned.



    Post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, or communications.  MBA (an asset).



    7-9 years of experience in experiential and/or sponsorship marketing; 2-3 years of agency experience.

    Experience building and pitching net new business.

    Client Service and / or Business Development experience (a definite asset).


    Other Qualifications

    Certification / Coursework in Microsoft Office (an asset)
