    Reporting to the Senior Consultant, Analytics and Insights; the Consultant, Analytics and Insights is responsible for the management of the sponsorship evaluation workflow, ensuring evaluations are complete and accurate, providing strategic POVs to account teams, and assisting in day to day client management for larger client groups.

    Duties and Responsibilities


    Analytics and Insights

    • Manage the workflow of sponsorship evaluations in the Analytics and Insights team
    • Assist account team in day to day client management for larger client groups in Canada, the United States, and Globally.
    • Conduct sponsorship evaluations using proprietary agency valuation model, ensuring all data is correct and complete
    • Support the team to complete evaluations accurately and efficiently by checking-in throughout the process and providing guidance as needed
    • Compile completed property evaluations and look for trends to make recommendations for client’s property portfolio
    • Review all valuations and POV’s before they move to the client’s relationship manager
    • Develop POV documents and negotiation strategies for properties
    • Responsible for all data held within the agency
    • Support the Experiential Practice by mining data to develop insights

    Relationship Management

    • Prepare a work back schedule for every project
    • Present POV to clients utilizing a partnership approach
    • Prepare a budget control report, reconcile hours and confirm scope with client
    • Understand clients’ businesses fully and maintain current industry knowledge
    • Support organic growth with accounts, taking an active role building the clients’ businesses, generating new strategies and anticipating sponsorship and integrated marketing needs


    People Management

    • Manage 1-2 direct report Associate Consultants (Account Coordinators)
    • Support Talent to recruit, develop and retain the best talent in the experiential and sponsorship marketing industry
    • Onboard new team members and provide on-going continued learning and development
    • Support and guide team members through consistent performance management and development plan
    • Execute weekly one-on-one’s to support team members continued learning and growth
    • Responsible for the workplace health, safety and wellness of team members
    • Manage the execution of required tasks by the imbedded team
    • Support team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in their approach to work

    Culture Cultivation  

    • Support ongoing development of a positive agency culture
    • Act as a Lumency champion in the marketplace

    Financial Responsibility

    • Manage team efficiency and effectiveness to ensure the Lumency budget, billing, and revenue is in line with client expectations



    Post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, or communications



    3-4 years of experience in Sponsorship Marketing, of which at least 1 year focused on the evaluation of sponsorship opportunities.

    1-2 years of people management experience (an asset)


    Skills and Abilities

    • Certification / Coursework in Microsoft Office (an asset)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships both internally and externally
    • Ability to manage workflow for Analytics and Insights team and utilize team members efficiently and effectively
    • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to present data and trends to clients and Lumency team members
    • Ability to prepare formal reports and presentations, read technical reports
    • Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to scrutinize documents for details and changes, analyze data, and have a strong attention to detail
