    Reporting to the Director, Talent Strategy and Development, the Human Resources Manager (Senior Consultant, Talent Strategy and Development) is responsible for all functional areas of human resources management for both internal and field force team members.  The internal team spans both US and Canada.

     

    The Senior Consultant, Talent Strategy and Develop is responsible to attract, hire, onboard, and retain the top talent in the industry, both in-field and internal team members, ensuring legislative compliance.  The Senior Consultant, Talent Strategy and Development is responsible for the development of exceptional human resources process and programs to enhance Lumency culture.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Talent Strategy and Development

    • Support the Director, Talent Strategy and Development in the creation of a plan to attract, hire, onboard, train and retain the best team members, both in-field and in-office
    • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruitment
    • Coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives (University / College Career Fairs, Postings etc.)
    • Oversee Lumency’s Onboarding and Off-boarding Program, streamlining process to create efficiencies
    • Support Director, Talent Strategy and Development to develop, communicate and implement Employment Policy and Procedures through the Lumency Playbook
    • Support the development, communication, implementation, and facilitation of the Keystone Development Program, Lunch and Learn initiatives, and continued learning and development programs
    • Manage the Health and Safety Program, ensuring legal compliance
    • Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee, ensuring legal compliance
    • Support on-going retention projects
    • Manage HRIS and all team member information
    • Execute payroll and manage benefit administration

     

    People Management

    • Onboard new direct reports and provide on-going continued learning and development
    • Support and guide direct reports through consistent performance management and development plans
    • Execute weekly one-on-one’s to support direct reports continued learning and growth
    • Responsible for the workplace health, safety and wellness of direct reports
    • Manage the execution of required tasks by direct reports
    • Support direct reports to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in their approach to work
    • Coach and mentor direct reports through ongoing career growth and support

     

    Culture Cultivation  

    • Support ongoing development of a positive agency culture
    • Act as a Lumency champion in the marketplace

     

    Other Duties as Assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education

    Post-secondary education human resources. 

    Certified Human Resource Professional or similar designation.

     

    Experience

    5-7 years of experience in a generalist human resources roles.  Recruitment experience. Agency experience (an asset).

     

    Other Qualifications

    Certification / Coursework in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (an asset).

    Certified Joint Health and Safety Member (an asset).
